At Abbey church we have a Pastoral Care Team to assist the Elders with the pastoral care of all who attend the church. Our aim is to ensure that everyone receives spiritual, emotional, physical and practical support when needed (practical help can be done in many ways such as, babysitting, hospital or home visitation in difficult times).
To encourage prayer in the Church we have a Prayer Ministry Team that runs alongside the Pastoral Care Team who can distribute non-confidential prayer points (authorised by the person concerned), within the fellowship (Ephesians 6:18), or be available to pray with you. If any member of our congregation would like to join the prayer chain please contact me.
