All-age Harvest service
29th September 2019 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Gathering for adults and children together to worship God and learn more about him as we thank him for his good gifts.
Mark and Julia Bashford will be leading our service.
If you would like to bring any gifts for those in need, then here are some suggestions:-
* fresh fruit and vegetables: members of the congregation will have the opportunity to take these home in return for a donation (that we will pass on to Gloucester City Mission)
* Pot Noodles (and other “add hot water” convenience foods) that we will pass on to Gloucester City Mission
* tinned food (that we will pass on to the Gloucester Foodbank). Particularly needed are:-
– long-life fruit juice (not chilled)
– long-life milk (not chilled)
– instant mash potato
– tinned ready meals
– tinned cold meat
– squash
– tinned fish
– tinned potatoes
There will be a creche area available but Abbey Church is made up of people of all ages, including many families, and on Sundays when children are together with the adults, we are quite used to a bit of noise!
Please contact office@abbeychurch.net or telephone 07788 110602 if you would like more information.
