Women’s Away Day 2017
We’re delighted once again to be holding an away day for the women of Abbey church. Our theme this year is prayer. It is something we all need to do and it is likely that many wish they could spend longer praying or do it more effectively – whatever that may look like. Ladies’ Breakfast
We are delighted to welcome Hilda Gamston from Trinity Baptist Church as the speaker at our breakfast. Hilda will be speaking along the theme of ‘Can we Trust what we believe in?’ The talk is aimed at Christian women, friends are welcome. Space is limited so only 40 tickets are available. Enjoy a BBQ and watch the World Cup: England -v- Panama
Bring the family along for a BBQ on the terrace (terrace by the lovely lawn of the Manor House, not that other sort of terrace!) and games on the lawn. Meat and soft drinks provided. Contributions of salads, rolls and deserts welcome. We'll be streaming England -v- Panama World Cup match live so enjoy watching that with us. Women’s Away Day 2018
Women of all ages are welcome to join us for a half-day of fellowship and a deeper understanding of the eternal hope we have in Christ. Our speaker this year is Kate Jones from Trinity Baptist Church in Gloucester, who says "I'm married to Phil with 4 children at home and we've lived in Gloucester for nearly 9 years.
