Winning the Race: Holiday Bible Club 2024

Volunteers and children enjoyed 3 days of “Winning the Race”, a free Holiday Bible Club held on 3 mornings at Heron School.

There were songs, a 4-part drama, crafts, indoor and outdoor games (if you didn’t get a bit wet with some of those games, you were either extremely skilful or you just weren’t trying hard enough) and competitions between the Javelins, Hurdles, Canoes and Kayaks teams, and each day we heard another instalment of the true story of Saul-who-became-Paul and dedicated his life to following Jesus, having lots of adventures on the way.

It was great to have parents and younger siblings join us at the end of each session for lunch.
