  • Passage: Matthew 27:62-66 & 28:1-10
  • Speaker: Ken Hawkins

Note: The voices of children taking part in the service have been removed from this online recording. Below are the answers they read to questions asked during the 9th minute of the recording:

Question: Is anything worrying you about going to the tomb?
Answer: Yes, there is a very big heavy stone over the opening of the tomb – we don’t know how we’ll move it out of the way, even the three of us together will not be able to move it.

Question: How do you know where to go?
Answer: We saw Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus being given Jesus’s body by the Roman soldiers – they took Jesus’s body to Joseph’s tomb.

Question: How do you know you’re going to get the right tomb?
Answer: Joseph’s tomb is a new one – we sat opposite the tomb where Joseph and Nicodemus put Jesus’s body in the tomb – we saw them roll a big stone over the entrance of the tomb, so we know exactly where to go.
